ABOUT THE ARTIST

As a graduate with a BFA from the Alberta University of the Arts (formerly ACAD), my practice is a diverse and multifaceted exploration of creativity. My passion for art and a childlike wonder drive me to continually push the boundaries of my craft.

Photography is one of my primary creative outlets, where I specialize in capturing the essence of special moments such as weddings and family photoshoots. Through my lens, I seek to create timeless memories that clients can cherish for a lifetime.

Drawing remains my first love, and I delight in creating commissioned pieces that have found their way into homes and offices around the globe. With a penchant for pencil, I find inspiration in the delicate balance between form and emptiness, while my goal is to evoke emotion and create a connection between the viewer and the artwork.

In recent years, I have expanded my creative repertoire to include illustration work, collaborating with authors to bring their stories to life through dynamic book covers, children's books, and logos. This medium allows me to explore the narrative aspects of art and synthesize my skills in both traditional and digital media.

My work embraces the full spectrum of creative expression, from traditional mediums such as pencil, watercolor, and gouache to the more unconventional realm of digital art. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and materials, driven by a desire to create something truly unique and unparalleled.

So many people think they aren't creative because they don't paint or dance or play music, or write. YET creativity is in our human DNA. Our souls demand away to express our observations, emotions, thoughts. The act of encountering art is a creative act wherein we meet the artist face-to-face.
